    Dublin Cemeteries Trust, a long standing and well-respected organisation, is the leading provider of Burial and Cremation Services in the greater Dublin area and manages a total of five cemeteries and three crematoria as well as the Visitor Experience Centre at Glasnevin. As an award-winning heritage site and Ireland’s iconic National Cemetery, Glasnevin is the guardian and storyteller of over 1.5 million people who have helped shape the Ireland of today.  

    As the Director of Infrastructure and Projects, you will be a key member of the leadership team with responsibility for project managing key strategic projects across all our cemeteries. 

    You will lead on various site initiatives in line with our organisational strategic plan and have an opportunity to champion infrastructure transformation and modernisation.     Your key areas of responsibilities will include:

    • Implementation of the campus master plan.
    • Leading on key strategic capital and infrastructure projects as they arise (including the Heritage restoration programme, construction projects and other related infrastructure).
    • Leading and supporting the implementation of the strategic plan in conjunction with the Executive, engaging with managers to ensure success of our strategic vision relating to our physical assets.
    • Embedding a culture of innovation and creativity across all levels within the organisation with a strong focus on sustainability, the environment, and our use of renewable energies across all sites.
    • Leading and managing the heritage team, monuments team, and cremation sales and memorialisation.

    The Director of Infrastructure and Projects will have proven track record of successfully implementing business strategies with:

    • Qualification/degree in engineering, commercial engineering, project management or other relevant discipline.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role.
    • Commercial experience.
    • High level of initiative and resilience and a proven ability to deliver on objectives.
    • Innovative and forward-thinking approach.
